I found this hubcap in a junk shop along the side of the road and it just said 'banjo' (878KB mp3) to me. The ring is made of five plies of maple I bent using a 2" pipe heated by a propane torch. The neck is made of mahogany with bolivian rosewood fingerboard, headstock and heel. I used a goat skin for the head.
